I'm trying to find information on my greatgrandfather Simon Singpiel who immigrated to Twin Lakes Township in Carlton County, Minnesota in about 1885. He remarried and fathered 4 or 5 other children who apparantly moved out of the area with him as we have no information other than the 1890 census listing of them. It is believed Simon is buried in Antigo, Wisconsin. As I'm just getting started in this genealogy business, I could use any help you can provide.

WICKLUND. I am seeking information about the family of Gustav Wicklund. Married Johana Amelia Johanson who went by Amelia or Emily. The moved to Wright (Lakeview Township) between 1910 and 1912. They had 10 children, 9 who survied, all with names beginning witih 'I'. Gustav committed suicide in 1922. Amelia remarried twice. Amelia died of natural causes in 1941. I would appreciate any information anyone might have, particularly about where they are buried (Swedish cemetary?) and their sons Isador and Ingvald.

Fred Thoren never married and had no children. Would like to find his brothers Carl Vilhelm Thoren, born 1863. Johan Edvin (LARSSON?) Thoren born 1868. Sven Alfred Larsson (THOREN?) born 1865.

ZUMBRUNNEN(BRUNNER) - GEORGE - Wife - Mae. They had one son ROBERT.
In the early 1940's they were living in a community called Nemadji in Carlton
Co. George was a brother to my paternal grandfather and I would like to
have whatever information that is available on the family. I would
assume that they died and are probably buried in that area. Robert
was a diabetic and physically handicapped and I believe he died quite
young - possibly before his parents.

hello, My grandmother was born in Cloquet 8 July 1888. Her name was
Ebba Ulrika Theodora Wallin. Her parents died in Seattle in 1890's.Ebba
was sent to Sweden when 3 years old and died in Uppsala. I am seeking information
on the Wallin family but am having trouble.Myself, I was born here in Australia.

The information I have is Henry OSEN, b 30 April 1863 in Martell Township,
WI. He died in a TB Sanitorium in Walker, MN 17 March 1928. His wife
was Minnie Eaton OSEN. They had at least one son, Byron OSEN
who was born in Wright, MN.

Amund AMUNDSEN, born 1853 in Strandebarm, Norway; arrived in Minnesota in 1883. He was supposedly found murdered in Moose Lake, shot in a hotel room with his hands and feet tied. Can anyone shed some light on this story?

Looking for information on the Leimer family. Franz Xavier LEIMER
moved from Appleton, WI to Cloquet about 1897, with sons Louis LEIMER,
August (Gus) LEIMER, and daughter Frances SCHEIDERMAYER (hus. Max).
Louis had the following children: Raymond, Helen, Gertrude, Isabelle, Jerome,
Edward, and Frank. Raymond was my grandfather and this line is well

Second wife of WW Rardin is Maude Welch. My Grandmothers name

I am looking for the PIKKARAINEN family. Victor PIKKARAINEN was
last known to be in Kettle River, MN in 1916. In the 1920 U.S. Census,
Victor is no longer found. But his wife Amelia (Gustafson) PIKKARAINEN
is in Autombo Township with a number of her children. Her children
are Ida, Leo, Mary, Hannah, Naimi, and Eddie PIKKARAINEN. Leo has
married Ida and has the following children: Henry, Helen, and Ester PIKKARAINEN.
