John Talbot married Anne Jane Davidson about 1850 probably in Stanley township, Huron county, Ontario. Anne Jane was probably born about 1835? in Clarke township, Durham county, ON. The Talbots and Davidsons were immigrants from Ireland about 1840. They had at least ten children. Robert 1850, Edward 1852, John Henry 1854, Mary Jane 1858, Margaret 1860, William 1866, and James 1868 were born in Stanley. Annie was born in 1872 in Huron County, MI. John applied for Naturalization in Huron county, MI in 1871. In 1880 John and Anne Jane lived in Grindstone City with William, James, and Annie. Daughter Gertrude was born in Dwight township in 1882.
Annie was single and a servant for a Doctor Pinkett, in Springfield, St Croix county, WI in 1900. James married Elizabeth probably in WI in 1888. In 1900 they were living in Rib Lake, Taylor county, WI with children Herman 1889, Arthur J 1896, and Lillian 1898. Margaret married Frank Nolan in Grindstone City in 1878. They had at least 2 children; Mary 1879 and George 1883 were both born in Port Austin. Their whereabouts after that are unknown. Edward Homesteaded in Dwight, Huron county in 1873. He moved to Rib Lake, Taylor county, WI about 1885 with wife Betsy McCloud whom he married in 1876 in New River, MI and children Charles S 1879 and Laura 1884. Arthur 1887, Roy 1890, and Grace 1896 were born in WI. William married in WI. He was widowed by 1905. His children, if any, are not known. In 1905 and 1910 he was living with his unmarried sister Gertrude and mother Anne Jane in Prentice township, Price county, WI. In 1920 Gertrude is living in Prentice with two children? Allan G 1900 and Mary Jane 1906. William and Agnes Woll of Cleveland township, Taylor county have nephews Earl Joseph Talbot 1902 and John Henry Talbot 1904 living with them in 1920.
Robert 1918, John Henry 1913, and Mary Jane 1923 died in Huron County, MI after marrying (Robert to Hannah Matilda Morris in 1877, John to Christina Urquhart in 1877 and Mary Jane to Edward Brown in 1876) and raising families there.
John was with his sister Mary Hall and her nephew Thomas Dempsey in Big Bend, Chippewa county, WI in 1900. Anne Jane was not with him. Mary Hall probably died in Big Bend in 1913. John probably died there too. I suspect this is not the abovet John Talbot.

BARTELT, Karl Frederick (greatgrandfather) born April 13, 1864 in
Schwirsen, Kreis Cammin, Pommern, Prussia. Married Marie OBITZ March 19,
1890 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In 1873, two of my great uncles, Frantz and Robert Bartelt, left the
Stettin and/or the Kreis Kammin area of Pommern,Prussia in order to avoid
being drafted into Kaiser Wilhelm's army.Their ages were 17 and 16. They
left the Port of Bremen, Germany
and arrived at the Port of Baltimore, Maryland, USA on Apr 18, 1873
aboard the steamship "Baltimore". They made
their way to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and two years later their parents,
Julius and Wilhelmine Bartelt, and their brothers and sisters, Bertha,
Augusta, Karl, Wilhelm and Albert followed. Also accompanying them was
a Christine Bartelt, age 68, whom I believe is the mother of my great-great
grandfather, Julius. They arrived at the Port of Baltimore, Maryland on
Apr 26, 1875
after leaving from the Port of Bremen, Germany. They also settled in
Milwaukee with various family members spreading out to Medford, Taylor
County, Wisconsin and Winona County, Minnesota. Some also went to
Illinois. About the same time, other
Bartelts from the same family line reportedly emigrated to South America.
I am looking to establish contact with other
genealogists or family lines in order to exchange information/family
histories. I am also in contact with other BARTELT family line researchers
who are also interested in furthering their genealogies. Interestingly,
my great-great grandfather's wife Wilhelmine Bartelt was also a Bartelt.
Her father's name was Christian Bartelt and her mother was
Friedericke Stueber. Julius and Wilhelmine also had one son born in
the US, Hugo Bartelt.

Seeking information on N.J. ALDERSON, a minister from England who immigrated in 1908 and was listed with wife Mary and daughters Florence and Edith L in the 1920 census of Medford, 3rd Ward. Looking for his full name, wife's maiden name and marriage data on the daughters.
Searching for descendants/ancestry of:
WARNER, Otto (b: abt. 1871, loc unk. d: Nov, 1913, WI)
m. abt. 1896
ALDERMAN, Katherine (b: abt 1868, loc unk d: May,
1930, WI)
(parents possibly ALDERMAN, Mandt(?)
and Jane (nee unknown))
I know little of this family. They had at least two children:
Fay (my grandfather, b: Oct 21, 1901)
Bessie (b: abt. 1900)
Fay's ex-wife (my grandmother) believes he was born in Thorp, Clark
Co., WI about October 21, 1901 although he stated to have been born in
Jump River, Taylor Co., WI. He eventually settled in Gilman or Jump River
with his wife, Julia (nee Johnson) and they had four children:
Betty (b: abt 1933 Taylor Co, WI)
Gene (b: abt 1934, Taylor Co, WI)
Fayette (b: abt 1935, Taylor Co, WI)
Irene Mary (b: January 7, 1942 Chippewa Falls, Chippewa,
WI)
Fay worked for the railroads in Chicago(Bensenville), IL for several
years. He and Julia eventually divorced. Bessie(married Refslund?, settled
in Renville Co, MN). There probably were other children.
My last contact with Warner relatives was over 25 years ago. My goal
is to reunite with some and share family research with those interested.
Any help would be appreciated.
